Islamic Studies Courses are designed mainly to enable the learner(s) understand the basic tenets of Islam vis-a-vis Al-Eemaan [The Faith], Al-‘Ibaadaat [Correct Manners of Worship] and Al-Akhlaaq al-Faadhilah [Praiseworthy manners].
COURSES TO BE TAKEN

At-Tawheed [Islamic Monotheism] – This course aims at enabling the learner(s) understand the basic principles of Islamic Monotheism, i.e. the belief in Allah, The Angels, The Revealed Books, The Messengers, The Day of Reckoning and The belief in Qadar (Predestination) – Summarily and Comprehensively.
Given its comprehensive and practical nature, Tawheed is learnt at every academic level of Deensavvy Academy.

Fiqh [Islamic Jurispudence] – In this course, learners are exposed to the correct Islamic modes of worship and rulings guiding them.
Learners will learn rulings regarding acts of worship such as The Obligatory & Supererogatory Prayers (As-Salat), Fasting (Siyam), Alms-Giving (Zakaat & Sadaqqat), The Pilgrimage.
This course will also be taught at every academic level of Deensavvy Academy, considering its relevance to our day-to-day existence.

Seerah [Islamic History]: This course teaches the life history of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam) and The Companions (may Allaah be pleased with them) so as to show the learner(s) the real models that are worthy of being emulated.
- Hadeeth [Prophetic Tradition]: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I have left you with two matters which will never lead you astray, as long as you hold to them: the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of his Prophet.”
In this course, learners will be acquainted with the sayings, actions and reports from the Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam), with a view of helping them get closer to properly understanding the basic sources of Islamic rulings.
- Adkhaar [Words of Remembrance & Prayer]: Allah says: “Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allâh: verily, in the remembrance of Allâh do hearts find rest.”
In this course, the learner will get familiarized with different wordings of remembrance that have been taught to us by Allaah through His Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam).
These words of remembrance will include words that are said to seek His refuge, words of prayer that are said in our everyday activities, and words of remembrance and prayers with enormous benefits for our lives in this world and the hereafter…
